Free agent Jadon Sancho is believed to prefer a move abroad despite receiving offers from Premier League clubs.

The 26-year-old winger is assessing his options six weeks after his Manchester United contract expired.

Borussia Dortmund, who Sancho has made 158 appearances for over two spells, are believed to be one of the clubs interested.

Sancho, who cost United £73m when he joined from Dortmund in 2021, is said to favour a move away from England but remains open to all options.

He spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, making 39 appearances as Unai Emery's team achieved Champions League qualification and Europa League success - coming on as a late substitute in the victory over Freiburg, his third European final in three seasons.

The England attacker spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Chelsea, making 41 appearances.

That deal included an obligation to buy, but the west London club paid a £5m penalty to send him back to Manchester United.

Sancho has been training at non-league Flixton to maintain fitness before the new season.
