Andy Robertson has admitted that Scotland were 'outfought' in their disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Slovenia. Tottenham star Robertson laid into his team-mates after they surrendered the lead in Tuesday's Nations League clash.
Ryan Christie put Scotland in front before second-half goals from Aljosa Matko and Danijel Sturm turned the game on its head. The Tartan Army remain winless at Hampden Park under new manager Sebastien Pocognoli, who's won just one of his four games since replacing Steve Clarke in the dugout.
Robertson, who earned his 100th cap for Scotland in Saturday's 2-0 victory over North Macedonia, was furious with the defeat against Slovenia and didn't want to focus his landmark achievement. "Not good enough," the left-back told BBC Sport Scotland.
"The whole team. We didn't do the good things we did on Saturday, I don't know what that's down to. They caused us a lot of problems and we have to find the reasons why.

"We wanted to kick on from Saturday because we had a really positive feeling about what we're doing and where we're going. We didn't do that.
"It's been a long camp, I don't know if it was down to tiredness, but Slovenia have played the same amount of games as us. They looked a lot fresher, more hungry.
"As Scotland, we might lack quality or make mistakes, but I don't think people accept being outfought. I think that's what happened tonight."
Robertson added: "I don't care about myself too much in terms of personal achievements. I know this one's been massive for me and I'm not taking that away from me. It was amazing that my three ex-managers came. I can't thank them enough for that.

"It was a really nice touch from everyone at the SFA to organise that for me and to see them. So, yeah, at the start of the game that was emotional for me and my family, and that moment will never be taken away from me.
"But at the end of the day, when that first whistle goes, I don't care if it's my first cap, my 20th cap or my 101st. It doesn't make a difference to me."
Scotland sit on four points after as many games and can no longer win Group B1. They'll need favours from both Switzerland and North Macedonia if they're to stand a chance of pipping Slovenia to second place.
That would give Pocognoli's side a place in the play-offs in March. Scotland host North Macedonia next on November 13 before travelling to Switzerland three days later.
