How to watch Newcastle vs Bayer Leverkusen

Match location and kick-off time: Newcastle take on Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, August 15 at St James' Park. Kick off is scheduled for 3pm.

Is it on TV?: The pre-season friendly will not be broadcast on any free-to-air channel in the UK. This game will only be available via pay-per-view.

Streaming options: Newcastle offer their own PPV pass for the Leverkusen game on NUFC TV, available for £5.99. Premier Sports 1 is also streaming the match with a monthly subscription costing £10.99.

Pre-season results: The Magpies have won two, drawn one and lost two so far this summer. They have beaten Darlington (3-0) and Valencia (2-1), drawn 1-1 with Gateshead and lost to Bristol City (4-1) and Everton (3-1). Meanwhile, Leverkusen have won five of their pre-season clashes so far, picking up wins against Kickers Offenbach (3-1), SF Baumberg (7-0), Genk (4-0), Essen (3-0) and Sevilla (2-1). They lost 2-1 to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to now include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, as well as 135 channels and full Sky coverage of the Premier League and EFL.

Sky broadcasts more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more with at least 215 live from the top flight alongside Formula 1, darts and golf.
