The Italian football season officially kicks off this afternoon with four fixtures in the Coppa Italia Round of 64.

All the games at this stage are to be decided after 90 minutes, or go directly to a penalty shoot-out, saving the teams playing extra time in searing heat.

The winner of Parma vs. Catania will go on to face either Cremonese or Sampdoria in the Second Round.

Whoever gets through Monza vs. Avellino will play either Torino or Carrarese in the next phase.

Cagliari or Arezzo will be facing either Hellas Verona or Virtus Entella in the Round of 32.

Fiorentina or Benevento will be setting up a clash with Pisa or Empoli in a very Tuscan side of the draw.
