Tony Bloom's investment and analytics network have been factors in Hearts' recent rise
Tony Bloom says he would be "really disappointed" if Hearts fail to win the Scottish Premiership by 2035.
The Brighton chairman vowed to "disrupt the pattern of domination which has been in place for far too long" when completing the purchase of a 29% stake in the Edinburgh club.
At the time, in June 2025, he also shared his ambition to achieve top spot within a decade.
Hearts came so close to a first title since 1960 last season, leading the league for 250 days before a dramatic final-day defeat at Celtic Park.
"The way it [last season] ended, in difficult circumstances from a Hearts point of view, is exceptionally disappointing for the club and for me as well," Bloom told Sky Sports.
"At the end of the day, we've got to accept what's happened, if not be happy about how things ended."
Celtic and Rangers have won every title since Aberdeen's 1985 success, but Bloom is confident Hearts are on track to break the Old Firm stranglehold.
"I'd be really disappointed if Hearts have not won the Scottish Premiership within the 10 years," he replied when reminded of his initial target.
Having finished two points behind champions Celtic in May, there has been a huge overhaul in personnel at Tynecastle.
Head coach Derek McInnes left for Rangers, along with captain Lawrence Shankland and midfielder Cammy Devlin.
With Wouter Vrancken now in charge, Hearts remain unbeaten at home in the league for over a year and sit third behind the Old Firm duo.
"We've started reasonably well, so again we've got to be hopeful and optimistic for the season to come," added Bloom as Hearts prepare to visit Celtic on Sunday.
"It was really difficult with the head coach coming in literally just before the start of pre-season, but as a football club you have to recover, and you have to recover quickly. I think we have done.
"We've brought in a lot of new players, and there's a lot to play for in the season for Hearts, so I think there's a lot for the Hearts fans to look forward."
