Monza target Di Gregorio return as Juventus aim to resolve goalkeeper crisis

Monza are reportedly considering a sensational move to bring Michele Di Gregorio back to the club, with the goalkeeper potentially set to leave Juventus this summer.

According to GOAL Italia, citing Sky Sport, there have been no formal negotiations between the clubs at this stage, but Monza are dreaming of reuniting with the goalkeeper who spent four seasons in Brianza before joining Juventus in 2024.

Di Gregorio made 84 appearances for the Bianconeri but has endured a difficult spell in Turin, with criticism surrounding his performances and his future now increasingly uncertain.

Monza would face competition for his signature, however, with Torino and Valencia also reportedly interested in the former Inter goalkeeper.

Juventus searching for a new No.1as Di Gregorio heads for exit

Juventus are already working on finding a replacement, with Mattia Perin potentially taking over as their first-choice goalkeeper in the short term.

The Bianconeri have seen potential options slip away and are now focusing on several alternatives. Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is reportedly among their preferred targets, while Sport Mediaset has also linked them with PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.

Other names under consideration include Musso, Anatoliy Trubin and Andriy Lunin, meaning Juventus’ goalkeeping situation could undergo significant changes before the transfer window closes.
