Martin Odegaard puts Arsenal rivals on notice after Man City win - 'We want to win everything'
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard inspired his team to a fine 3-0 win over Manchester City to clinch the Community Shield - and then immediately set his sights on more silverware
Martin Odegaard helped Arsenal humiliate Manchester City - before warning his rivals Mikel Arteta's men are on a mission to win everything this season.
Arsenal swept City aside 3-0 to win the Community Shield in Cardiff, thanks to goals from Riccardo Califiori, Kai Havertz and Odegaard - his first in 2026. And Odegaard told the rest of the Premier League how champions Arsenal have the hunger for as many trophies as possible.
Odegaard said: "We played some brilliant football. We showed our level. We showed we're ready, serious and want to do it again.
"We want to attack it. When you get a taste of how nice it is, you want to do it again. We want to win everything."

Arteta has now won two trophies in the last four months and he said: "I'm extremely happy with the performance. We talked about the desire we have - and to show how much we want it.
"It's down to the preparation. I'm very impressed in the manner we played and competed.
"There is more belief. How to do it (win the title), and what it means. It makes a difference. I want to live those moments again. But we know it's going to demand something special."
This was Enzo Maresca's worst possible start to his mission of replacing Pep Guardiola. It was also his joint heaviest defeat as a manager in England.
He said: "The big part of the game was the first goal we conceded. Then the second one made it more difficult.
"I'm always concerned, even when we win games. We have a lot of things we need to do better.
"We will re-set, analyse the game and start thinking about the next one. We can find many things after this kind of defeat. We were not switched on."
Captain Ruben Dias insisted there was a lot of work for his side to do. He said: "It's obviously not good enough. It is a final that we all wanted to win.
"If there is a lesson to be learnt in the final, let it be this one. You need to push through and make things work between us.
"We need to keep on working. and there's going to be lots of challenges along the way."
