Cookie Policy

1. What they are and what we use
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar tools are the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) and, in the app, the phone’s secure storage. On this page we call them all “cookies”.
GoalingBreak uses only its own cookies and storage (Wayku SL’s): technical ones, which make the service work or remember your choices, and those for our usage statistics, listed separately. No advertising or profiling cookies, no third-party analytics or social tools.
2. Necessary cookies
They make the site and the features you ask for work. They do not need consent.
gb_session— keeps you logged in to your account (30 days from last use)gb_apple_state— protects Sign in with Apple while you go to Apple’s site and back (10 minutes)gb_ref— remembers the code of whoever invited you, if you arrive through an invite or partner link, to credit the invite when you sign up (the first link counts) (90 days)gb_push_riallineate— keeps the web notifications you turned on in sync (until you close the tab)gb_consenso— only if we ask for your consent to statistics: remembers your choice (6 months)
3. Preference cookies
They remember your choices so we don’t ask every time. They do not need consent.
gb_lang— the language you chose (1 year)gb_tz— your time zone, to show the right kick-off times (1 year)gb_banner_app— stops showing the download-the-app notice again (14 days if you close it, 30 if you download the app)gb_banner_app_visto— shows that notice only once per visit (until you close the tab)gb_follows,gb_invito_stella— teams and matches you follow without an account, and the invitation to follow them (until you delete them)gb_quiz_ospite— the daily quiz played without an account, to be saved when you sign up (until you delete it)gb_quiz_muted,gb_quiz_volume— quiz audio (until you delete them)gb_sort— the order you chose for scores (until you delete it)gb_push_invito_rinviato,gb_curvawin_popup_day,gb_curvawin_since,gb_challenges_dismissed— when you have already seen or postponed notices (notifications, curva results, challenges), so we don’t show them again (until you delete them, the last one until you close the tab)gb_ad_sessions,gb_ad_last_session,gb_ad_session_counted— how many times you have already seen promotions, so we don’t show them too often (until you delete them, the last one until you close the tab)gb_fb_aperto— offers you the feedback questions at most once per visit (until you close the tab)
4. Storage for usage statistics (ours)
These serve our in-house usage statistics: the data stays on our servers, we do not use it for advertising profiling and do not pass it to third parties. What we measure, why and how long we keep it is explained in the Privacy Policy.
gb_vid— random browser code, to recognise later visits from the same browser (until you delete it)gb_sid,gb_sid_ts,gb_sid_meta,gb_sid_seq,gb_view_prev— group the pages of the same visit, in their order (a visit ends after 30 minutes of inactivity) (until you close the tab)gb_track_campione— whether we also count clicks in this visit (we do it for a share of visits) (until you close the tab)gb_rec,gb_rec_byte— whether this visit is one of those recorded and how much has been recorded so far, to stay under the limit (until you close the tab)gb_track_outbox— queue of events to resend when the connection comes back (until they are sent)
You can object at any time by writing to info@goalingbreak.com: statistics linked to your browser or account stop. You can also delete this storage from your browser settings.
5. Third-party services
- Telegram login: on the login page we load Telegram’s button. If you use it, Telegram may set its own cookies under its privacy policy.
- Sign in with Apple: takes place on Apple’s site, under Apple’s rules.
- Images hosted by others: some images (crests, player photos, news images) come from the servers hosting them, which receive your IP address and browser data. We set no cookies on their behalf.
- Web notifications: if you turn them on, the browser registers a small program from our site (service worker) that receives notifications even when the site is closed.
6. In the app
The app stores the same information as the website in the phone’s secure storage: your login, the notification address, a random installation code (also used for usage statistics), any invite code, the teams, leagues and players you follow, preferences and notices already seen, statistics events not yet sent and, only if we ask for your consent to statistics, your choice. The app does not use the phone’s advertising identifier and does not track you across other companies’ apps or sites. Uninstalling the app deletes everything.
7. How to manage them
You can delete cookies and site data at any time from your browser settings and block them for goalingbreak.com. If you block the necessary ones some features stop working (for example staying logged in).
For questions write to info@goalingbreak.com.
